Test Preparation
You already know that getting the highest score you can is important. You probably know that getting the right score on the SAT or the ACT can help students get into their school of choice, and students can be eligible for valuable grants and scholarships based on their higher scores!
I offer comprehensive SAT and ACT preparation help or we can focus on just the sections where the student needs the most help.
Here is a little about what I do:
My method is to focus on mastery of the material first and foremost. Going quickly through the test won’t help if the answers are incorrect. I work with my students one-on-one to gauge where they are in their journey toward mastering it, and we work together to formulate a plan to get them the rest of the way there. When the knowledge is there, speed will come naturally, so as we go along in our lessons, we will go faster.
As the test date approaches, we will do activities like timed practice tests where the student works through a complete section and then at least one entire practice exam.
I will help your scholar to be ready to face the test head-on and do their best!
